People don’t typically come to the Midwest for its Mexican food, am I right? Too many people would much rather wait until they’re in the American Southwest before they try some awesomely flavorful Mexican dishes – but what if they didn’t need to travel? What if there was a small-town Mexican restaurant in, say, Indiana that we could all flock to and have meals so amazingly good we’ll swear we’re no longer up north? Well, there is – and it’s called Tacos My “Frens”; for years now, it’s been offering up what I suspect is the best Mexican food in Indiana. Come out to LaPorte and try it for yourself:

The prices are excellent, especially considering the size of the entrees. Truly, when I say the portion sizes are gargantuan, I really mean it.
