There is no shortage of wonderful small towns in Indiana; no matter where you go or what you do, you’re sure to find a visitor’s center of some kind to welcome you, teach you a little about the area, and offer up some ideas about where to go and what to see. There’s one small town, however, that’s got the single coolest visitor center in Indiana. What makes it so cool, you ask? Oh, I’ve got many reasons for feeling this way, and I’m not alone: the American Institute of Architects ranked Columbus, Indiana sixth in the U.S. for innovation and design thanks to the town’s very unique visitor center.
