Delhi is a tiny little town in Richland Parish that’s home to about 2,600 residents. While it may seem like a fly-by town, it’s actually home to one of the most remote state parks in Louisiana, Poverty Point Reservoir State Park. Don’t be fooled by the size of the town, this state park is huge, and a great destination for anyone looking for an escape to a more natural setting.

Visit the Louisiana State Park website for more information. If you do make a road trip out to this beautiful and remote park, be sure you’ve got all the best road trip snacks!
