There are so many beautiful hikes and fantastic walking trails to enjoy in the great state of Massachusetts. However, sometimes I also like to head north and check out the scenic sites in New Hampshire. When I found out about the Nashua River Rail Trail, I didn’t have to decide where to travel. This scenic walk runs through parts of both New England states and is an ultimate outdoor playground must-see.

Have you walked or biked the Nashua River Rail Trail? What did you think about it? To find out more about the trail including places to park along the way, please visit the Mass.gov website. If you are looking for more fun Massachusetts rail trails, be sure to look into the Cape Cod Rail Trail and the Grand Trunk Trail in Southbridge.
While you are hiking you will definitely want to protect yourself from mosquitos. A great insect shield field tee shirt can be found at L.L. Bean.
