There is so much going on all over the state this time of year. While I love taking part in big events and festivals, I sometimes require a bit of quiet and solitude to relax and recharge. There are many peaceful spots in the state of Massachusetts that are perfect for a remote escape, and Harold Parker State Forest is one of the best.

Harold Parker State Forest is made up of over 3,000 acres of publicly-owned land and is located within four towns in the Andover, Massachusetts area. This large park contains many miles of trails and several ponds.

There are 91 campsites available to rent. Pitch a tent or bring your RV or trailer. Amenities include bathrooms (with showers and flush toilets) and a playground. Each campsite has a grill, water source, fire pit, and picnic table. The campsites are large and spread out from one another, so you should have plenty of privacy.
