This farm in the Upper Peninsula is great for family outings. Many pumpkin patches feature a corn maze, and this is one of the best ones you can find in the UP. They’re open in the afternoon on Fridays from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 10:00 A.M.-8:00 P.M. on the weekends.

If you love to hang out at the petting zoo, Fleming Farm is a pumpkin patch you’ll want to visit. They host the local county fair so they’re used to crowds, and they love visitors. You can even watch them feed their sheep herds with some of the extra pumpkins that don’t turn into Halloween decorations. The pumpkin patch opens on September 30 and you can visit from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the weekends.

As you can see, this is a place that takes its pumpkin patch seriously. However, they also have tons of other fun for the whole family, including two corn mazes, concessions, and a petting zoo. They even have a craft store where you can buy a memento to take home with you. They’re open from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday. They’re also open on Mondays, but with reduced hours.

You’ll find all the pumpkins you can handle at Morse Brothers Farm. They have tons of other gourds too for those looking to round out their fall decorations. Keep this location in mind for some great strawberry picking in the springtime. Their fall hours are Monday-Friday from 1:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on the weekends.

This is where you can find beautiful fresh-cut flowers during the spring and summer and beautiful gourds and pumpkins during the fall. You’re welcome to pick your own out on the patch or find one that you love inside their country store. Their doors are open daily from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This farm is getting a little more regional attention thanks to its line of Blake’s Hard Ciders. I’ve even used it to make some delicious apple bread. You can use the pumpkins from here to make some serious pumpkin pie as well. See where the brand started by visiting them from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
One of my favorite things to do after carving pumpkins is to bake the seeds for a great on-the-go snack. It might just hit the spot when you’re on your way to one of these great locations. If the extra work isn’t for you, check out our guide for some great road trip snacks while you’re on the go.
