Commerce is located about a 32-mile drive northwest of the city of Detroit.

Walking around the Michigan forest in the middle of the night is spooky enough. Add lights, dark music, and actors waiting to scare you at every turn and you truly have a recipe to scare just about anyone. The season typically starts in mid-September and is usually open Friday - Sunday until the last week in October.

Okay, they’re not all monsters here. You won’t have to worry about traumatizing your child by taking them to the Haunted Forest, because they’re very mindful of making sure everyone has a spooky, yet tasteful experience. Opening weekend usually features a lot of fun for kids including balloon animals and face painting. Families tend to book the earlier times when there’s still some sunlight.
