Founded in 1818, this quaint Missouri town, which has earned distinction as “one of the oldest communities west of the Mississippi, promises something for everyone, whether you enjoy good food or prefer spending time outdoors.

Stroll through downtown Fredericktown, too, where you’ll come across perhaps the most defining landmark of the town – The Madison County Courthouse, which dates back to 1899.
If you’re a fan of shopping, you’ll discover an eclectic collection of shops, selling everything from gifts to antiques. The small town is also home to several flea markets, including Green’s Flea Market.
