Gather the family and make your way to Rhymers Ridge Farm in Jefferson City for its epic Harvest Festival, which is set to run every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 30 through Oct. 29, 2023.
A family-owned, working cattle farm, Rhymers Ridge has become an autumn tradition, offering a full menu of family-friendly fun. If you love animals, you don’t want to miss this fall festival that offers the opportunity to pet and feed an assortment of animals, including calves, donkeys, goats, and sheep.
While you’ll see traditional farm animals during your visit, you’ll also get an up-close look at some rarer ones. Meet Elvis, Prince, and Jimmy – the resident peacocks.
For a one-of-a-kind adventure, climb aboard a unicorn or a horse for a leisurely ride. Unicorn rides will be available on select days throughout the festival. Or go on a hayride.
How about getting that adrenaline rushing with a ride down one of the giant slides? Rhymers Ridge Farm is home to one of Missouri’s longest festival slides, and it’s made from materials found right on the farm.
A visit to the farm during the fall certainly wouldn’t be complete without pumpkins. Stroll through the pumpkin patch, which features more than 15 types of pumpkins. If you don’t feel like picking pumpkins, you can purchase already-picked ones.
