Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms. When it comes to enjoying the great outdoors in Montana, there are seemingly endless ways to do it. Whether you love adventuring through the woods or exploring hidden spots few people have seen, there’s nothing more fantastic than the Montana breeze. Best of all, many of these spots are incredible throughout the year. Any season is great for being surrounded by nature, but the heat of summer is one of the best. I love the water, so finding any lake, river, or swimming hole is high on my list. This remote late in Montana, located near the Idaho border, is a great option!
