No matter if you are just passing through Glen or are staying in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop into Sunrise Shack to get the day started with one of their fantastic omelettes. Self-described as a "shoppe of whimsy, imagination, and exotic delight," Ravenwood Curio Shoppe lives up to its reputation as a destination for creative and unusual works of art. 3. Great Brook Cascades/Devil's Half Acre Pond, New London

Bogs are remnants from the last ice age when retreating glaciers left behind kettle hole ponds. Today, these bogs have been transformed into peat and moss mats that support a diverse array of plant life.
