Part Waterpark And Part Amusement Park, Casino Pier And Breakwater Beach Is The Ultimate Summer Day Trip In New Jersey
It might be August, but there’s still a lot of life left in summer – and for me, that means there’s no better time for fun on a Jersey Shore boardwalk. The only question is…which boardwalk? Point Pleasant Beach has the old-school charm, while the massive Wildwood boardwalk is larger than life. However, for my money there’s no boardwalk park in New Jersey that better sums up the Jersey Shore’s charm than the one in Seaside Heights. Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach is an amusement park and water park in one, constantly upgrading with new thrills without ever losing its authentic appeal. Many of the rides are still doggedly old-school, the theming is unique and quirky, and it’s the perfect way to spend a summer day in New Jersey only feet from the beach.
