I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and I love photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world! Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream.
If you’re talking about pasta, you’re speaking my language! Growing up with some amazing Italian cuisine, I’m constantly on the hunt for pasta to transport me back to the dinner table of my childhood. If pasta is your love language, you can find some of the best pasta in New Mexico at Pastaggio’s Italian.
Spaghetti, penne, fettuccine, etc...Topped off with a marinara, alfredo sauce, roasted garlic and oil, or meat sauce, you can certainly tailor pasta just the way you like it.
Located in Las Cruces, Pastaggio's Italian is the place to go if you're craving any sort of pasta. This spot has the ability to satisfy all you pasta lovers out there!
Chef Lorenzo Liberto opened Pastaggio's Italian in the 1990s. While there are many classic Italian dishes on the menu, he also infuses some local flavors into the food.
If you want something different, for example, order the Meat & Green Chile Lasagna, or pasta topped with Green Chile Alfredo Sauce. You'll enjoy the flavor combination!
However, if green chile isn't your thing, there's a Traditional Meat Lasagna you can order instead.
There are plenty of classics on the menu as well. If you order spaghetti or penne, you can top it with marinara, primavera, meat sauce, or garlic and oil. Add a meatball and it's the perfect pasta meal!
And then there's the fettuccine upon which a creamy alfredo usually belongs. While you can order a traditional alfredo sauce, maybe you'll want to mix it up with a pesto cream or red or green chile alfredo instead.
If you like your pasta stuffed with meat or cheese, try a ravioli or tortellini. Top with your choice of marinara, alfredo, red or green chile alfredo, or pesto cream for a delicious meal.
