Located in Western New York, Cobble Creek Farm sells nursery stock and offers custom tree-digging and installations. In the fall, though, it is an amazing destination for some of the ripest pumpkins in the state. They even offer haunted hayrides! 2. The Great Pumpkin Farm - Clarence

The Great Pumpkin Farm goes all the way back to 1996, and has even been in the Guinness World Book of Records for creating the first 1,000 pound pumpkin. The festival now is full of all sorts of attractions, from events to rides to attractions. It’s a must-stop for visitors near the town of Clarence. 3. Sunnyside Gardens - Saratoga Springs

Located near Albany, Sunnyside Gardens is an award winning garden center whose fall pumpkin patch is fun for the whole family. Beyond the patch, the gardens also offers up hay rides, live music and a lot more. Their current hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. 4. Pumpkinville - Great Valley

In the autumn, there is one thing that is almost as important as pumpkins, and it is apple cider. Here, visitors can order some fresh cider, squeezed on site, and then sip it as you search for the perfect pumpkin. What could be better? 5. Abbott Farms - Baldwinsville

This fall at Abbott Farms, pick apples and pumpkins alike for a great price, and enjoy a variety of photo ops. It’s worth making the trip to the town of Baldwinsville. The farm is closed on Tuesday, but open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., then on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For sure, visit the Abbott Farms website to learn even more.
