When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.

The tiny, idyllic town of Oakes, North Dakota, was platted in 1886 and officially incorporated in 1888 as an important stop along stagecoach routes, as well as the aforementioned railroad, and today, it’s managed to remain an important little place in the heart of our beautiful state. When it comes to beautiful small towns, this peaceful small town in North Dakota is a testament to just how well some of our smallest places can stand the test of time.
