It is that time of year again! Pumpkin patches are opening across the state, and we’ve located the largest pumpkin patch in Northern California. Located in the bucolic town of Wheatland, Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm is the perfect fall day-trip destination. Started in 1973, this family-run farm proclaims to have the world’s largest U-Pick pumpkin field, making it a must-visit destination this fall. So put on your boots and plaid flannel, and head to Wheatland to visit this fun pumpkin farm.
The Weeland Petting Zoo invites guests to interact with friendly goats and get a taste for rural farm life. Get lost in the sprawling corn maze or take a ride on Charlie’s Carousel, an old-fashioned merry-go-round.
There is so much to do at this farm! Take a ride on Bishop’s Flying Service, a fun amusement park ride that honors the history of crop dusting in the Sacramento Valley.
Head to Pigadeli Square, where pizza, nachos, hot dogs, chicken strips, and a variety of kids' meals await. With seven other spots to grab treats, meals, and snacks, you won’t go hungry.
For the comfort and safety of all visitors, Bishop's Pumpkin Farm kindly requests that pets remain at home.
Admission is free, but you must purchase tickets for the activities. The farm is open daily from Sept. 9 to Nov. 5, 2023.
