Located in Piedmont at 130 Gooder Simpson Blvd, Piedmont Community Park offers an unforgettable day of fun for the whole family. It's a newly constructed park built by the community that stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and dedication.
With features catering to all age groups, including outdoor fitness zones, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a certified Monarch butterfly station, the park promises an action-packed and inclusive experience for visitors of every kind.
As you step inside, the park reveals its wonders, splitting into two directions. To the right, a playground designed for 2-5 year-olds awaits with a covered wagon, sandboxes, swings, and imaginative play areas.
On the other side, the playground designed for 5-12 year-olds invites adventure with its modern merry-go-round, thrilling climbing structures, and the star attraction—an exhilarating zipline that delights all.
The highlight of summertime fun at the park is undoubtedly the splash pad, which recreates the charm of Old Town Piedmont with nostalgic features like an old storefront, railroad, wagon wheel, and windmill.
A small climbing rock wall awaits adventurous souls eager to test their climbing skills. Though modest in size, this rock wall offers a thrilling challenge for climbers of all ages.
During my visit to Piedmont Community Park, I couldn't help but notice the dedication to maintenance. The playground was spotless, and everything was in perfect working order, making it clear that the park's upkeep is a high priority.
