There’s no question that Oregonians love delicious food. From Portland to Ashland and everywhere in between, you’ll find outstanding places to eat and devoted clientele that keep these wonderful spots in business. Amazingly, it’s not just the bigger towns and cities where you can dine in great restaurants, either. Lots of small Oregon towns boast fantastic eateries, too. A case in point is The Crazy Norwegian’s Fish & Chips, located in Port Orford, Oregon.
In this gorgeous beachside community of approximately 1,000 residents, one of Oregon’s best restaurants in a small town is hiding in plain sight. Well, the secret’s out! Whether you’re a local (lucky you!) or you’re just passing through, you can’t go wrong at The Crazy Norwegian’s Fish & Chips
This hidden gem gets points for its nautical look, and of course, its fantastic fish dishes.
Be sure to check out The Crazy Norwegian's Fish & Chips' outstandingly creative daily specials, such as the Kicken Chicken Candied Bacon Hoagie, which was served with a side of slaw.
Other items on the menu may include smash burgers, pork tacos, blackened rockfish, beef quesadillas, peanut butter cup cookies, or pumpkin pie cookies.
Another delectable creation that I'm hoping to try is the spicy fish sandwich, served with pasta salad.
But don't fill up on your main course. You want to save room for this eatery's many delicious desserts. These yummy treats include a mouthwatering selection of pies like berry, chocolate cream, and coconut cream.
