Smith Rock State Park near Bend is one of the most beautiful and unique state park in the Oregon State Parks system – and that’s saying a lot because our state has so many state parks. If you’re looking for an unforgettable trail to hike in Oregon, then you’ll love the Crooked River Trail in Smith Rock State Park. This hike is an out-and-back hike that’s 4.5 miles in length, but because it follows the Crooked River, you won’t experience a whole lot of elevation gain and the trail is rated easy.
