Summer evenings were meant for dining outdoors at the elegant John J. Jeffries, a fine dining restaurant nestled inside the Lancaster Arts Hotel.
While you may think this Lancaster restaurant is named after a chef, you'd probably be surprised to learn that the moniker pays homage to a tobacco inspector. The owners found a stamp with the inspector's name and date (November 5, 1890) on the floor during renovations and decided to name the fine dining establishment after him.
While a meal at this charming restaurant is bucket list-worthy any time of the year, you'll certainly want to experience dining on its outdoor patio at least once.
