South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
The first Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch was held in 1997 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, America’s most photographed plantation. The 2023 event will be its 27th year bringing people of all ages together for a day of good old-fashioned fun on the farm celebrating the fall season. During all these years, it has become a Lowcountry family tradition, growing into one of the largest fall festivals in South Carolina.
