Newport Beach Brew Boat is a unique kind of boating tour and is a wonderfully entertaining outing on the water for any group of friends or family.
It is a boat? A bar? A bike? The answer is yes, yes, and yes! This is the first “Cycleboat” in Orange County and truly unlike any other boat tour. It is a paddleboat which is powered by the feet of its riders as it cruises through the water.
The boat has a passenger limit of 16, with 10 pedal seats and an additional 6 spots for non-pedaling passengers. Everyone takes turns pedaling and relaxing so everyone gets a chance to power the boat, and don’t worry if everyone starts having too much fun and some forget to pedal - the boat does have a small motor to assist in navigation.
Explore the harbor like never before on this boating adventure. You can purchase individual seats on a public cruise and make new friends while you pedal through the harbor, or you can book a private group charter and cruise with just your friends and family.
This is a B.Y.O.B. cruise. Guests on the Brew Boat are welcome to bring their own beer, wine, cider, or other canned drinks (and ice) to enjoy on the journey, with a limit of four drinks per person. You can bring food and snacks along as well.
Don’t forget the music! The boat has a Bluetooth system and speakers, so all you need is a phone with a great playlist to get the party started.
Newport Beach Brew Boat is perfect for all kinds of celebrations, adding a unique twist to bachelor and bachelorette parties, anniversaries, graduations, team building, or just a day of fun.
Public tours require passengers to be at least 21 years old, while private tours are family-friendly so anyone can join the fun.
When you board the Brew Boat, your US Coast Guard-certified captain will whisk you and your group off on a 4-mile ride through the picturesque waters of Newport Beach Harbor. There is also a deck hand on board to assist with anything you may need.
Party boats depart Wednesday through Sunday from the Newport Beach waterfront with a variety of departure times. Parking is available at the Waterfront Office Building; rates are $2 per 20 minutes with a daily maximum of $20.
