I have learned to really love fall. The array of colors in the trees is undoubtedly beautiful, and certain traditions precede this time of year. I am a huge fan of apples, and in the fall, they shine bright red and are ready to be picked. No matter how you celebrate the changing of the seasons, one thing we can all agree on here in Tennessee is that every season brings new opportunities to gather together. This season at Northfield Vineyards is an event that is designed for just that sentiment. The Fall Market in Sparta, Tennessee is right around the corner, and it’s a great kick-off to autumn.
It is a time to visit local farms, enjoy mountain vistas with miles and miles of forests, or in this case, a lovely vineyard for the annual Fall Market! The event is free and open to the public, and everyone is invited to come celebrate the crisp air and the changing of the leaves together.
Up to 70 vendors set up shop for this 3-day event to sell their handcrafted products.
Something about the fall season sparks creativity in me and I’m glad to see I am not alone because at the Fall Market, you can peruse rows and rows of unique gifts. Everything from homemade jewelry, hand painted signs, to beautiful woodworking pieces.

There will be plenty of classic, Tennessee farmhouse-style decor to add to your home. Show off some hometown love with one-of-a-kind printed shirts and hats, or stock up on some fresh-smelling new soap. There is no telling what kind of wonderful creations you will find.
Local food trucks show up slinging piping hot pies, delicious roasted corn, shaved ice, and much more. There is sure to be something that will tempt your taste buds.
Is it even a Tennessee event without live music? I think not! Live music will play a big role, as always, at the Fall Market.
Enjoy a little shopping, then stop by to watch the musicians play their heart out, and maybe walk away with a couple of catchy tunes stuck in your head.
We can’t think of a better location to usher in the new season than this beautiful vineyard.
This year’s Fall Market in Sparta Tennessee is bound to be a blast and definitely worth putting on your autumn bucket list.
