This 32-foot Airstream is an urban anachronism. Sure, you would expect to see one of these beauties rolling into your favorite campground... but hardly ever do you see them in the hustle and bustle of city life!

You can start by having a leisurely morning, but make sure you give yourself enough time to get a good spot for your first activity for the day.
People start early and line up to see a classic Memphis tradition: the Peabody Ducks! These waddlers are certainly loved in this city. In the Peabody Hotel at 11 a.m., the red carpet is literally rolled out and the elevator opens for the ducks to waddle their way to the fountain. The whole production is led by *the* duck master and it is definitely a show you will not want to miss.
This restaurant literally had its start in the basement of an existing restaurant, but make no mistake about it: it's legendary. Hidden away from the public eye hasn’t stopped this local eatery from becoming one of the best BBQ spots in a city known for smoked meats. Walking down into the original location makes this feel like a cool local secret, but the word is out and people are far from quiet about their love for Charlie’s ribs.
For the afternoon, mosey over to Mud Island where you can follow a full topographical scale model of the Mississippi River.
This is an interesting destination within the city and can take you quite a few minutes to traverse it all. You can also relax and watch the real Mississippi River or snap a selfie in front of the giant Memphis sign.
Next up, head on over to the famous Pyramid of Memphis... yes, you read that right!
This striking structure serves a few purposes, one of which is a one-of-a-kind Bass Pro Shop. The whole inside has been transformed to look more like a Louisiana swamp with tall cypress trees and hanging moss. Take the elevator to the top and you can hang out on the balcony for a perfect view of Might Lights when the sun goes down. Might Lights takes thousands of little lights and illuminates the bridges over the Mississippi to a nightly light show that last 10 minutes. If you miss it, that's okay -- stick around because the show will happen again every 30 minutes.
When the day is late, make your way back to your urban campground to enjoy a night in the Airstream. Before you retire, spend a little bit of time unwinding around a campfire. This certainly is a great and interesting way to experience Memphis, Tennessee!
