This tiny Panhandle town is home to Double XXL Steakhouse, a remote steakhouse in Texas that serves up the best ribeye you’ll ever eat for roughly $40 a plate (that price includes sides and all the trimmings, too).

If you want to try some of the best steak in Texas, you'll have to venture down a bumpy dirt road in the small North Texas town of Stinnett.
Located about an hour north of Amarillo, Stinnett has a population of under 2,000 - but you'd never know just how small the town is if you visit Double XXL Steakhouse on a Friday or Saturday night because it always has a packed house.
Open by reservation only, this little-known steakhouse is so remote that it has almost no cell service.
Most guests go with the "XXL usual," which features a 16-ounce, locally-raised, bone-in ribeye steak along with a side salad, a baked potato, garlic bread, a sausage link, and a grilled jalapeno.
All of that food comes with a price tag of just $40 per person - far less than a fancy steakhouse (and, in my opinion, a million times tastier).
From seafood to BBQ to a delicious apricot-glazed pork tenderloin, the options are plentiful (no chicken, though).
The dessert selection rotates, so you never know exactly what will be available when you come - but rest assured everything is absolutely mouthwatering.
Charles' wife, Linda, is a whiz of a baker, with one forkful being all it takes to realize her genius.
