Destruction breeds creation, with the end result often being even more beautiful. That is definitely the case when it comes to the Galveston tree sculptures. A neighborhood art project that began after Hurricane Ike destroyed thousands of trees on the island in 2008, this whimsical tour is a can’t-miss experience.
