This family-owned eatery harkens back to simpler times, serving up home-cooked meals just like grandma used to make in a retro atmosphere. Once you try the food, you’ll be a loyal customer for life.

With a population of about 2,500, Seymour, Texas doesn't see much in the way of tourism. You'll really only see locals around town, which is why Rock Inn Cafe has been able to remain such a hidden gem.
Open since the 1930s, this historic eatery came under new management in 2020, and the Scott family has worked hard to strike a balance between preserving the restaurant's rich history and transforming it into something even bigger and better.
On the menu, you'll find a variety of homemade meals made with fresh ingredients and lots of love. The burgers are a house favorite, topped with melted cheese and stuffed between two toasty, buttery buns.
Nobody does it quite like Rock Inn, and once you bite into that crispy exterior and discover the tender, white-meat chicken hiding within, you'll understand what I mean.
Rock Inn has its very own ice cream parlor that dishes out the most decadent sundaes you'll ever try (with whipped cream and a cherry on top, of course).
