Do you believe in aliens? If so, you are in good company here in Utah. The Beehive State is no stranger to UFO sightings with hundreds of reported UFO sightings all around the state. But, some of these sightings are more well known than others and some individuals claim to have experiences they can’t seem to explain — including a man outside of Cedar City in the 1950s.

There are reports of UFO sightings in areas all around the state from the red rocks in southern Utah to the Uinta Basin. But there is one man whose story is becoming well-known thanks to author David Booher.
Irwin saw an object glowing and believed it to be a crashing plane. He pulled his vehicle over, grabbed his jacket, left a note in his car, and went to check it out.
Irwin was seen by medical professionals and cleared for his health. He returned to his home in Texas where things were never quite the same. He would have episodes where he’d black out or suffer from bouts of amnesia. His mental state became so bad he had to receive psychiatric treatment more than once.
