I don’t know about you, but sunflowers always put a smile on my face. Maybe it’s because they look like sunshine in flower form or the fact that the flower heads move toward the direction of the sun (a fact I find utterly fascinating). These flowers are also a sign that summer is almost over and fall, a favorite season for many, is arriving. If you enjoy the sight of sunflowers, there’s an incredible farm hiding in Arizona where you can pick your own sunflowers you need to check out.
Located in Willcox in Cochise County, Apple Annie's Orchard is a family-owned farm that's become a destination for u-pick fruit and vegetables. The farm also has a store that sells a variety of baked goods and gifts and offers a variety of events throughout the year.
Not only can visitors to the farm enjoy pumpkins at the Fall Pumpkin Celebration but a 12.5-acre corn maze featuring 600,000 corn stalks, hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a variety of fresh-baked goods, and the sunflower field.
