Mostly known for the pagoda, Patterson Park is also the perfect place for a stroll. The sights are beautiful year-round, especially during spring and autumn.

Charm City's largest park is filled with an abundance of attractions, including the Maryland Zoo. Although the zoo certainly isn't free, you can still explore the grounds, which are filled with sculptures, statues, trees, and water views.

3. Rawlings Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Speaking of Druid Hill Park, be sure to check out Rawlings Conservatory, which is filled with various rooms of exotic plants. This beautiful spot is free of charge and you'll want to bring a camera.

This underrated gem is home to a historic mansion and gorgeous gardens. Be sure to check out the Japanese maples while you're here.

You can visit Sherwood Gardens year-round but it truly comes to life during spring. Thousands of multi-colored tulips sprinkle the property and it's a stunning sight to behold. This is a great spot for a warm-weathered picnic.

This interactive park is located near the harbor and it's fun for both children and adults. The "playground" is full of fun things to climb on and there's also a musical fence!

7. Federal Hill Park

For some of the best views of the city, head to Federal Hill Park, which is located across from the harbor. Be sure to bring a camera to capture the sights or simply relax while taking in the views.

Exploring cemeteries isn't for everyone, but you may change your mind when it comes to Green Mount Cemetery. This historic spot is full of character and the weathered sculptures are intricate and beautiful. Many historical figures are buried here, including John Wilkes Booth!

9. The Sculpture Garden at Baltimore Museum of Art

Not many people know that The Baltimore Museum of Art is free of charge. Even lesser known is the hidden sculpture garden out back, which is breathtaking year-round. Check out this inspiring place at least once.
