You may have spotted this structure when crossing over the Key Bridge. Fort Carroll was built in 1847 and we can't help but feel that it's the perfect place to isolate yourself from the undead. Zombies can't swim, after all.
The observatory level is located on the 27th floor of Baltimore's World Trade Center. It has a 360-degree view of the city, which is perfect for scoping out zombies. Having this sky-high view is great for strategizing.

Another fort makes our list because let's be honest, forts are usually impenetrable when you need them to be. Fort McHenry has plenty of spots to keep lookout, and bunkers for hiding in case any unwanted zombies wander into the area.
In this 15-story tower, you can keep an eye on your enemies with ease. It's also located downtown, which could be hazardous if you're trying to dodge zombies, but convenient if you need to quickly run to a nearby building for supplies.
This goes for any ship (or submarine) located in the harbor. Remember, zombies can't swim - so take to the water and you should be safe for a while.
America's first cathedral is located in Baltimore and not many people know that it has secret crypts down below. This spot is great for hiding or stashing items that you're saving for later.
When you're in a pinch (perhaps being chased by a herd of zombies?) jump in a paddle boat and go! As long as you've got the energy, you've got a safe place - no matter how ridiculous you may look.
