I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
A few months ago, we asked our Facebook users to name their favorite lakes in Arkansas. Of course, Norfork Lake was mentioned several times. And rightfully so, because this 22,000-acre lake is arguably one of the clearest lakes in our state. Naturally, the lake is a slice of heaven for water enthusiasts who enjoy plenty of water recreation during the warmer months. The best part about Norfork Lake is the many beaches tucked along the peninsulas, but there is one hidden gem that belongs on your list this summer. Robinson Point is a pristine beach on the lake with waters so blue that it rivals the Caribbean. Leave your passports at home, hop in your car, and let’s spend the day at this hidden beach in Arkansas.
