What is fall in Buffalo like?

Fall in Buffalo is a magical time, if you ask us! Not only are the leaves of almost all the foliage ablaze in golds, oranges, and reds – it also seems like no matter where you turn there’s something wholesome and fun going on. Among our favorite things to do in Buffalo during the fall include:

  • Visiting some of the best U-Pick Farms in the area. Pick your own apples and/or pumpkins and bring the kids – they'll love it!
  • There are also lots of delightful fall festivals near Buffalo to look forward to.

Make sure to bring a light sweater; temperatures begin falling in September when the highs are around 70 degrees, and continue to fall until January (well into winter). October highs are usually in the high 50s, and it’s a good idea to plan for the little bit o’ chill in the air.
