On November 17, one of Charlotte’s most anticipated light shows opened at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont. An annual event that many locals look forward to each year, Holidays at the Garden is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and enjoy a magical winter wonderland.

Holidays at the Garden takes place November 17 - December 31 at the renowned Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

The light show opens at 5 p.m. each evening and visitors can wander through the beautifully lit garden until 9 p.m. when the show closes.
The entire garden is transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland for holidays at the Garden.

Sparkling lights are everywhere; wrapped in trees, illuminating sidewalks, elegantly twinkling from bushes and other greenery. Holiday at the Garden is the perfect place to take the family for some holiday cheer.

And Mrs. Claus is on site many weekends, available to talk to children and adults while taking their holiday messages to the Big Guy at the North Pole.
Each evening there are various activities going on to keep visitors entertained.

Horse-drawn carriage rides are available every night and guests will enjoy live music, holiday shopping at the Garden Store, firepits aglow to keep you warm on cold nights and a Children's Holiday Discovery Trail geared specifically towards the kiddos.
There are also some planned adult activities for holidays at the Garden as well.

Holiday wine tastings, wreath making, and card crafting are all events going on at the garden during the Christmas season, so check the schedule and make sure you don't miss your favorite.
Tickets are only $12.95 for adults and $7.95 for children if you order online in advance.
