One of the most exciting things to happen in Colorado in a while is the fact that our great state has recently been chosen by The Michelin Guide as a noteworthy dining destination. It’s only the sixth location in the United States to be noticed by The Michelin Guide along with New York, Washington DC, Chicago, California, and Florida. This is a huge deal for foodies who live in Colorado as well as for visitors from other states. The first five restaurants to earn Michelin Stars in Colorado were announced just last week, and there certainly will be more to come. Further, some other restaurants in Colorado didn’t receive stars, but also received nods from the Michelin inspectors – and they’re worth checking out, too! Read on to learn about these Michelin Star restaurants in Colorado and more.

If you like good food and have thus far overlooked the restaurants mentioned above, it’s time to make some reservations to give them a try! You might have a hard time getting into the restaurants that won stars, but give it a shot. The Bib Gourmand Awarded restaurants are certainly worth visiting as well, and they may be easier to access – and afford. We’re so lucky to live in a state that the Michelin Guide finds noteworthy. I can’t wait to try all of these places out!
