Think you’ve seen all there is of Indy by now? Indianapolis might not have the clout of larger cities, like Chicago, but there’s always something fun happening in the Circle City. Just check out this charming and historic neighborhood in Indy where it’s nearly impossible to run out of things to do.

This eccentric and funky neighborhood is full of unique attractions that you'll never grow bored of.
Fountain Square is home to incredible local shops, like the funky and beloved Square Cat Vinyl record shop.

Browse new or used records, grab a cup of coffee or beer, and visit during one of their many special event nights, which range from movie viewings to live music.
You can easily spend the day browsing through vintage items at places like Vintage Vogue and Flux.

Vintage Vogue features curated vintage clothing and accessories, while Flux offers incredible vintage furniture, home decor, and art. Other memorable stores in the area include The Hero House comic shop, The Mass Ave Knit Shop, and Arthur's Music Store.
Fountain Square is located along part of the cultural trail, which means it's extremely biking and walking friendly.

In addition to the Cultural Trail artwork, you'll find incredible graffiti and mural designs through this artsy district.
If you're hungry, you'll find yourself faced with a difficult decision, as there are so many incredible restaurants packed into this small neighborhood.

From the incredible Mexican at La Margarita, Tex Mex at Revolucion, comfort food at Red Lion Grog House, European dishes at Pioneer, Thai cuisine at Siam Square, and BBQ at the Smokehouse on Shelby (just to name a few), you'll find any type of food you're craving within walking distance.
If you're looking for a late night snack, Kuma Burger (a heavy metal restaurant and bar), Pure Eatery, and Peppy Grill are open late.

You'll catch Kuma open until 1 AM on weekends, Pure until 3 AM, and Peppy Grill serving your favorite diner dishes 24/7.
Don't eat meat? No problem. Almost every restaurant in Fountain Square caters to vegetarians and vegans and recently, Fountain Square just became home to an all vegan comfort food restaurant, Three Carrots.

After eating, you might be craving a good cup of coffee or tea, so head on over to Nine Lives Cat Cafe where you can play with cats and enjoy a great cup of joe.

Not a cat person? No problem - the cats are optional and not in the main part of the cafe.
If you like trying things out of the ordinary, then you'll love duckpin bowling inside the historic Fountain Square Theatre building.

Enjoy drinks and bowling in this retro alley and, in the summertime, you can even sip your cocktails on the building's roof. The theatre building also holds swing dancing nights, where you and your friends can learn to swing dance or have a night out watching others perform.
There's also an amazing brewery where you can sample craft beers at Fountain Square Brewery.

During the spring and summer there are always outdoor activities happening in the middle of Fountain Square, from concerts and music festivals to art fairs and more.
