Indianapolis may be a fun city to call home, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some downsides. Whether you’ve lived in the city for decades or are new to the area, we can all agree that there are some definite struggles to living in Indianapolis.

1. When someone asks what the weather's supposed to be like and you laugh, as if that's a thing you can ever know

2. When you come home to find someone's stolen your perfectly shoveled out parking spot.

Wars have been started over much less.
3. When the out-of-towner in front of you doesn't realize he can turn left on red if both streets are one ways.

4. When you want to buy beer, but remember that it's Sunday.

5. When you're relieved winter is over, only to find yourself hitting potholes every few blocks.

6. When you're excited about your income tax return, but then remember your vehicle registration is due.

It's gotten better, but so many great bands and performers skip Indy. It's frustrating.
10. When people ask what there even is to do for fun in Indy.

Eat at national and internationally ranked restaurants, explore unique and local shops, check out the Indianapolis Speedway, visit a top zoo and aquarium, go to some stunning parks, visit the world's largest children's museum... You know what? On second thought, nothing. We'd rather keep it all for ourselves.
