Minnesota is home to so many gorgeous waterfalls. From the incredibly popular Gooseberry Falls in Two Harbors to the lesser known – but still magnificent – Winnewissa Falls in Pipestone, the Land of 10,000 Lakes might as well be called the Land of Dozens of Waterfalls. Even the state’s largest city has a horse in the race, with Minnehaha Creek falling 53 feet to create the famous Minnehaha Falls. This Minneapolis waterfall, like all the others in the state, is beautiful in the summertime, but in the winter, it holds an otherworldly beauty that will take your breath away.
Minnehaha Regional Park is just as pretty in the winter as it is in the summer.
Have you ever been to Minnehaha Falls in the winter? What was your experience like? Tell us about it in the comments below, and don’t forget to share your own frozen photos!
