Even if you spent an entire month eating out at restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul, you would barely scratch the surface of all the great food there is to be had in the Twin Cities, but dining in the city can also be taxing. You have to deal with higher prices, bigger crowds, and congested traffic. Sometimes, it’s nice to venture out of the city and into rural Minnesota. On those occasions, consider heading out to Henderson, Minnesota. It’s home to a restaurant that’s a little out in the boonies, but so worth the drive.
Henderson, Minnesota is a tiny town about 55 miles southwest of Minneapolis.
The Henderson RoadHaus is located at 512 Main Street, right in downtown Henderson. Surrounded by other local businesses, the area is incredibly charming - and surprisingly bustling.
When you're done exploring the nearby shops, head into the RoadHaus. The large windows and comfortable dining area give this restaurant a welcoming atmosphere.
The service is friendly, too! Whether you're just stopping in for a drink or you're hungry enough for an entire meal, the staff is nothing but accommodating.
Henderson RoadHaus takes part in many community events as well. It's a hub of the community, which makes it the perfect place to get the small-town vibe you just can't find in Minneapolis.
This charming restaurant may be out of the way, but it’s well worth the drive. Have you ever been to the Henderson RoadHaus? Would you recommend any other restaurants that require a short drive from the Twin Cities, but totally worth it? Let us know in the comments below!
