Welcome to Once Upon A Time In France, a French bistro in Nashville that serves great eats in a cozy 1920s atmosphere. 1920s France, of course!
If you've ever wondered what a French bistro looked like back in the 1920s, then look no farther than right here. Owned and operated by a local french family, you'll find that there is a little bit of France in every nook and cranny.
This little bistro is just like a bistro in France, serving as a small, affordable restaurant option in a quaint little area tucked in with everything else.
The menu ranges from escargot and pâté to french onion soup and steak frites. To pair with your meal, they also have a selection of over 75 French wines and plenty of European beer options to boot.
If you just really love wine, we also recommend going across the street to The Authentique, their wine bar. It's a great place to hang out while you wait for your turn to dine!
No matter which dish is your favorite, you can always try new French things here at the bistro. Whether your type of adventure is duck or snails, they've got it here, made fresh with plenty of TLC.
Once Upon A Time In France is open from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. They are first come first served, but you can get your name on the waitlist early for a night you won't forget.
