The beautiful Christmas light displays that are peppered throughout the city are pretty special, but this particular display should be on everyone’s bucket list. For select nights throughout December, the Audubon Zoo transforms into a spectacular Christmas light display that the whole family will enjoy.

You can also ice skate at the nearby Carousel Gardens rink while you're there! If you enjoy a little nightlife (new New Orleans at night is world-famous) Bourbon Street is a must. Filled with light, love, and music Bourbon Street is always lively and festive, especially during the holidays. Be sure to check out the elaborate light displays set up by some of the bars and clubs along the street.
