Where is a good place to stay for a romantic weekend in or near St. Louis?

The St. Louis area is home to a number of wonderful places for a romantic weekend and it all starts with staying at a cozy bed and breakfast inn. One of the more well-known in the city is the Fleur-De-Lys Mansion. The mansion is architecturally stunning, and the proprietors have managed to maintain the structure’s original character and charm which goes back to when it was first built in 1913. You’ll find four meticulously decorated and themed rooms for your romantic stay. Some have jacuzzi tubs but they also have a central one for all guests to use. There is also an amazing library/sitting room, which is great for reading, relaxation, and getting to know the other guests. And, the gourmet breakfasts are amazing.

I’m looking for a really kid-friendly park in St. Louis.

Well, there are lots of them, as St. Louis has always been a great place to raise a family. If your kiddos are into animals, they would definitely love the Turtle Playground. Located at Oakland Ave and 6128 Tamm Ave, the park is home to eight giant concrete turtles that the kids (OK, you too!) can climb on and scoot under. Bring your camera and take lots of pictures because they really are something to behold!
