Hop In Your Car And Take The Mount Baker Scenic Byway For An Incredible 57-Mile Drive In Washington
Washington has some of the most scenic drives in the entire country. And after all these “unprecedented times,” we certainly appreciate them a lot more. When the weather warms up, there’s one route, in particular, we love to recommend: The Mount Baker Scenic Byway. Although it’s only a 57-mile drive, you’ll want to allow plenty of time to stop and explore.

But you certainly don't have to be a skier to enjoy this route. In fact, it's much easier to navigate in the summertime.

Of course, you can have an amazing day without even getting out of your car. There's plenty to see on the road.

This route includes some of the most photographed scenery in the Pacific Northwest.

The Glacier Ranger Station is also a wonderful place to stop. It was built in 1938, and not much about it has changed.

Find Picture Lake if you're into photography -- it boasts a beautiful mirrored reflection of Mount Shuksan.

You'll appreciate this beautiful state in a whole new way.
