We’re not too far from Philadelphia here in the Nutmeg State, but if you don’t feel like making the trek all the way into the city to enjoy the delicious cuisine, don’t sweat it. Philly’s: A Taste of Philadelphia is a new restaurant that’s already making a big splash in the area. There are two locations in Connecticut, with one in Norwich and one in New Haven. This little spot has got some of the best Philly cheesesteaks in Connecticut, and many reviewers think they could be even better than the Phillys in Philly! (We know, those are fighting words.) The Travel Channel actually rated this the #1 sandwich in America! If you are looking for an authentic Philly food experience, it doesn’t get much better than a visit to either of the branches of Philly’s in Connecticut.
