Have you been dreaming of a romantic getaway, a place to go that’s beautiful and where there are no distractions? You may want a place that feels remote but is close enough to a great area with fun things to do. Well, we’ve found just that type of place to share with you, an idyllic treehouse in Greenville, South Carolina where you can get away but have plenty of options for a little excitement, too.
Only ten minutes from downtown Greenville and situated at the back of a wooded two-acre lot, this beautiful treehouse comes with privacy and a convenient location. You can kick back and relax the entire time you're here, or head into the city for a romantic meal or some fun.
When you step inside, right away you understand that this is not the typical "roughing it" type of treehouse. This one is cozy and comfortable with many amenities.
The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, 12' vaulted ceilings, a complete wall of full-height windows overlooking the woods, electronic blackout blinds for every window allowing for later mornings, and a LED 55-inch TV for those who love to watch movies in bed.
The entry to the primary bath is a beautiful, custom barn door that, when pulled back leads to a stunning full bathroom with a large vanity, a linen tower, and a spacious walk-in shower.
And in the shower you'll find the neatest surprise – a door leading to a private outdoor shower complete with bug screening, the perfect touch to this amazing space.
There are bunk beds to sleep an additional two people if you're not coming for a romantic getaway or want to bring your children back to experience life overnight in a treehouse! (However, you'll want to keep in mind the treehouse is not suitable for children younger than 12. See the Airbnb listing for more information.)
And last but not least, there's an open-air deck with seating as well. It's the perfect spot for drinking coffee in the morning, reading, and enjoying sunsets.
Have you ever stayed overnight in a treehouse before? Where is the most romantic place in South Carolina you’ve been for a getaway? Send us an attraction nomination so we can check it out.
