Peaches are a quintessential part of summertime in Delaware, and one little town goes all out to mark the arrival of peach season each year. The Peach Festival in Wyoming, Delaware is a community celebration packed with vendors, food trucks, children’s programming, and of course, peaches. It takes place on the first Saturday in August, and this year’s festival looks to be the biggest yet.

The Wyoming Peach Festival takes place on the first Saturday in August, which this year is August 5. It begins at 9 AM and runs through 2 PM, when the winners of the peach-based dessert contest will be announced. Please note that this year, the traditional Peach Festival parade has been canceled.
