Hagley Museum & Library, originally a DuPont property, features 235 beautiful wooded acres along the banks of the Brandywine River. There you’ll find numerous historic buildings remaining from the site’s first purpose as a powder mill in the 1800s.

Hagley hosts several recurring events during the year, including Summer Nights at Hagley. Every Wednesday evening from June through August, take a stroll or bike ride along the Brandywine River and then indulge in a picnic, or try some fare from local food trucks.
Summer Nights at Hagley take place every Wednesday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM, from June through August. Admission is $5 for the general public, or free for museum members and children under 6, with tickets available at the gate.
