When summer and fall roll around each year, it can feel like there’s a festival in Georgia just about every weekend. We’ve got festivals for just about everything, from fire ants to moonshine to apples. One of the longest-running festivals in the Peach State is the Sorghum Festival in Blairsville. It’s been running for more than half a century, making it one of the longest-running festivals in the state. This fall event runs for two weekends in a row in October and has tons to entertain the entire family. Check it out:

This year's Sorghum Festival is scheduled for October 14-15 and October 21-22, 2023 in Meeks Park.

Blairsville's population is under 750, and this is the biggest event here each year. It's been going strong for more than 50 years.
