There is nothing like perfectly prepared baked goods such as fresh pastries and French bread. At Gaston’s Bakery and Mill in Boise, Idaho you won’t be able to get enough of the goods prepared and sold here. Owner Mathieu Choux came to Treasure Valley in 2001 from Burgandy, France, and brought a love of baked goods with him. Today, he shares his skills and delicious treats in an Idaho bakery that locals can’t get enough of. And, once you visit, you won’t be able to get enough of either.
Gaston’s Bakery and Mill is located at 3651 W Overland Road in Boise. It is one destination that will trigger all five of your senses.
Gaston’s Bakery is not the first eating establishment that Choux has opened in Treasure Valley. Shortly after he moved to Idaho from France, he opened Le Café de Paris in downtown Boise. Then, in 2006, he closed the café to focus on a bakery, which is now located on the bench and a must-visit place to eat in the City of Trees.
This bakery is open seven days a week. When you arrive, the smells may lead you right to the fresh bread. Gaston’s Bakery sells all types of bread from table bread and sandwich loaves to dinner rolls and buns.
Of course, you must also try one of the sweet breads or muffins on the menu as well. You will find regular flavors like banana and chocolate chip to seasonal flavors like chocolate-pumpkin.
How do some croissants and pastries sound? At Gaston’s Bakery, you will find several options and I suggest you order a few — you’ll have a hard time choosing just one.
While you can always purchase Gaston Bakery products right in the store, this bakery also sells its bread and pastries to more than 180 local businesses and restaurants. This makes it easier than ever to enjoy the baked goods that you love.
